Kevin Lyman, who is actually a really solid dude, has spoken.
The Vans Warped Tour founder and producer of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival has confirmed to Metal Insider that The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival Boat will set sail December 7, returning to shore December 11.
Lyman confirms the floating fest will feature performances by Lamb of God, Anthrax, Machine Head, and Suicide Silence.
Lyman added other bands would be on the bill from the Metal Blade, Sumerian, Roadrunner and Century Media labels.
Lyman also claims Korn’s Jonathan Davis and Slipknot’s Sid Wilson will be DJing and that there will also be a film festival presented by Fangoria. Slipknot’s Shawn “Clown” Crahan is also curating a charity art show.
“We are just excited to get to put this together,” Lyman told Metal Insider. “It has been a fun process for both of us and really allows us to expand the Mayhem brand and good times.”
I’m no fan of the fest on a cruise fad, but this shit, I might have to go on.
