Kids Do The Cutest Things: 8-Year-Olds Cover Metallica

Rock on, kids

After the jump, at the end of this post, you will see a video of a bunch of little kids doing a better version of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” than those dudes you saw at your local bar last week, who actually did a fairly decent rendition of “Holy Diver.”

The video was shot at the Bucklebury Beer Festival and features The Mini Band — boasting shredders Zoe Thomson and Harry Jackson, Kieran Fell on rhythm guitar, Harrison Read on lead vocals, and Archie on bass; all of the band’s members are 8, sans for 10-year-old drummer Charlie Emmons.

The little girl on guitar shreds during her solo, and the singer kid — aside from the awkward stage presence — can belt out a tune. When I was 8, I was picking my ass and collecting my boogers and eye snot in a pickle jar. These kids are doing justice to Metallica’s best known song, and they haven’t even learned physics yet.
