Yes, we’re all glad Jesse Leach is back in Killswitch Engage, and all seems right with the world again because of it.
But we also like Jesse in his other bands: The Empire Shall Fall and Times of Grace, his project with KsE’s Adam Dutkiewicz.
What’s up with ToG? A new EP, Loudwire‘s learned.
“For Times of Grace, Adam and I have talked a few times about doing a new EP or something. Honestly that’s on Adam, he’s the creative force behind the music of it,” says Jesse.
“Once he writes something and delivers it to me, I’ll be more than happy to start writing for that.”
Jesse also discussed the possibility of issuing a solo disc.
“With the solo stuff, that’s probably going to take longer than any of the stuff. I’m still forming my style, I’ve got three or four demos kicking around. It touches on blues, rock and roll, a little bit of trip-hop, a little bit of punk, a little bit of reggae, some ska. Yeah, mutt style. I’m trying figure out to take all of my styles and diversities and make them work in songs. It’s fun but I’m a little overwhelmed but it’s my work ethic.”
I’d be down to hear that. Like Jesse, I have an appreciation for numerous forms of music.
