I only own a handful of vinyl records. Some rare shit, like limited pressings I was sent for free as a music writer.
Plus, I’ve purchased a few choice LPs I’ve come across in my travels through tag sales various chicks have forced me to take them to, and as I’ve traverse down the aisles of vintage record stores in Brooklyn.
But I don’t own a record player. The vinyl in my possession is purely decorative, which is kind of weak.
Maybe when my measly tax return shows up in my account, I will go on eBay and see if I can acquire a cheap record player, because then maybe I’d become a vinyl addict, like some of my buddies.
Anyways, Killswitch Engage have plans to put out their latest LP, Disarm The Descent, on vinyl later this month.
The limited-edition gold double-vinyl pressing will be available for acquisition starting March 31.
To sweeten the deal, the vinyl offering will include a bonus track — Killswitch Engage’s acoustic rendition of “Always,” a truly beautiful song, if you ask me.
