All you little Korn lovers out there are going to have to wait until December 6 for that new Korn record, ya hear?
What are Korn fans called? I know Slipknot have the maggots, and Lady Gaga’s got her monsters. What does Korn have — niblets? Or just “Dudes who don’t think anything released after 2002’s any good?” Or douche bags? That’s what I call Korn fans.
The Path Of Totality, Korn’s tenth studio release, drops December 6 via Roadrunner Records.
A press release describes the effort as “an experimental album which finds Korn shifting gears and exploring new territory. That should hardly come as a shock to the band’s diehard fans, as Korn exploded onto the scene in the’90s and established themselves as hard rock game-changers from that point on.”
They’re changing up their style, going all dubstep — whatever the hell that shit is.
“The title The Path Of Totality refers to the fact that in order to see the sun in a full solar eclipse, you must be in the exact right place in the exact right time,” says Jonathan Davis. “That’s how this album came together. I think all the producers feel the same way. I’m not sure it could ever happen again.”
