I did not realize this, but Korn’s ghetto-fabulous bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu’s found Christ in 2009.
I don’t know where Christ was hiding, but Fieldy found him and now, he’s got a special gig lined up tomorrow at some church in Arizona. Killer!
“Pastor Tim Jacobs will chat with Korn bassist Reginald ‘Fieldy’ Arvizu this Sunday, April 14 between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at Compass Church in Goodyear, Arizona,” reads Blabbermouth.
A description of the event claims Fieldy “was on the dark path of excess, alienating friends, families, and loved ones, nearly destroying himself and the band. It took an unexpected tragedy to straighten him out: the death of his father, a born-again Christian, to a mysterious illness. Following his father’s dying wish, Fieldy found God. Filled with the spirit of his new faith, Fieldy quit drugs and drinking cold turkey, and found the best part of himself.”
So, I guess maybe that’s why Head’s back in good with the Korn dudes. Fieldy’s been born again!
He has accepted Christ as his personal savior, just like Head did back in the dizzay.
Fieldy, however, was smart enough to not leave the money-making band. Head, on the other hand…well, we know what Head did.
Can’t make it to Arizona for the service? No sweat, fucko!
Go here and you can live stream it tomorrow.
