Korpiklaani Unveil New Album’s Art

I have never seen a record cover this weak

I have absolutely no interest in the forthcoming Korpiklaani album.

It’s not just because I’m not really into the folk metal. But the whole record’s subject matter bores me, and now, the band’s unveiled the LP’s cover, which is super fucking lame.

I mean, look at it!

That album cover may rank among the worst that I’ve ever seen.

It excites no part of me. Not a fiber.

Regardless, Noita is coming out through Nuclear Blast on May 5.

This is Korpiklaani’s first offering to feature new accordion player Sami Perttula, who played a very active role in the folk arrangements along with fiddler Tuomas Rounakari.

That atrocious cover artwork for Noita was created by Jan Yrlund from Darkgrove Design, who has created all the Korpiklaani’s covers in recent years.

In Finnish, “Noita” is a person with wider knowledge and understanding of nature and also is believed to possess paranormal or unnatural abilities.

Bored, bored, bored.
