It’s the end to a very long day, and I need to get my ass to Mars…I mean, New York City. But here are a few items I just didn’t get around to today, which are nonetheless newsworthy. So here we go: It’s another round of Odds & Ends.
First, Armed For Apocalypse have started writing for their next disc. The band says in a Facebook update that they’re seven songs deep, but “I’m sure tour will slow that down, but we are going to strike while the iron is hot and keep our creative streak blazing.”
Dates were revealed today for the “Decibel Defiance Tour 2010,” featuring an imposing lineup of Suffocation, The Faceless, Through The Eyes of the Dead, Decrepit Birth, and Fleshgod Apocalypse. That tour kicks off October 15 in Worcester, Massachusetts, and runs through November 13 in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Kylesa have made a track off of their forthcoming disc Spiral Shadow available online at their MySpace page. The track is called “Tired Climb” and fans will no doubt love the cut. That album drops October 26.
Mushroomhead have a new song online from their new disc called “Come On.” The band’s LP Beautiful Stories For Ugly Children comes out September 28.
