L.A. Guns Get New Guitarist, Again

The new guy

Less than a month after announcing his addition to the band, L.A. Guns has parted ways with Frankie Wilsey and replaced him with Michael Grant.

Grant will make his live debut with the band this weekend in Chicago and Detroit.

Bassist Scotty Griffin posted the news on Facebook.

“Is [Michael] our permanent guitarist? What happened to the last guitarist? Whose solo album is better, Paul’s or Ace’s? I can’t say… I’m just the bass player,” he writes.

“But you heard it here first. Stay tuned.”

He later updated his Facebook with this post: “Set up and ready to rock Illinois tonight! First show of the year, and first show with our newest member, Michael Grant of Endeverafter on lead guitar!”

Stacey Blades bounced from L.A. Guns in early December.
