RIP

This is sad.

Victor Agnello, a guy who played drums for San Francisco Bay Area metal veterans Laaz Rockit, died Sunday, losing a year-long battle with leukemia.
He was just 50 years old.

He passed away quietly at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, surrounded by his family.

Victor is survived by his wife and seven children.

Laaz Rockit pioneered speed metal, and Vic was one of the first drummers to utilize double-bass.

Metallica once opened for the group.

Victor eventually decided to leave the band to become a physician.
