At this point, I can not confirm either of these tidbits of information, courtesy of The Gauntlet.
But I am working on it — trust me.
[UPDATE: The band’s publicist has since issued a statement confirming all of the following info]
I must say…I’m glad they’re getting back to the business of being Lamb of God immediately. Shows they’re stronger than anything any legal system can throw at them.
With Randy Blythe now out of jail and on a plane headed to New York from Prague, Lamb of God have seemingly agreed to still play the Knotfest shows on August 17 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and August 18 in Somerset, Wisconsin.
They had previously announced they wouldn’t be playing them. Things have since changed.
The Gauntlet also claims the band is currently targeting October 26 as the start date for a U.S tour.
Dates and cities will be released soon, and rumor has it Randy will be making a public statement discussing his time in Prague and thanking fans worldwide for their support within the next week.
Blythe spent five weeks behind bars, on bogus manslaughter charges following a fans death more than two years ago.
