Lambesis Pleads Not Guilty, Being Held On $3 Million Bail

As I Lay Dying frontman and self-proclaimed Christian Tim Lambesis was arraigned today, and plead not guilty to charges related to an alleged murder-for-hire plot he hatched, which was said to have targeted his estranged wife, Meggan.

While the prosecutor was originally sought bail be set at $20 million, it was actually set at $3 million.

If Lambesis is able to make bail, he is not allowed to have contact with his wife or children.

Lambesis was charged Tuesday with solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit a crime at today’s arraignment.

Meanwhile, Angie Lee, a freelance reporter for San Diego’s, live tweeted the arraignment.

“Tim Lambesis enters a ‘Not Guilty’ plea for hiring someone to kill his wife of 8 years details on @CBS8 at 5pm,” she writes.

“Standing room only in the arraignment of Tim Lambesis we are waiting for attorneys”

She also tweeted:

Lambesis will be back in court for a hearing on July 10.
