Leukemia’s Third Album To Finally See Light Of Day

Love

For those unfamiliar, Leukemia were a thrashy Swedish death metal band that dissolved during the 1990s.

Their third album, Love, was never released as a result, and just languished, unheard of for years.

Well, now Vic Records will be releasing the long-dormant LP.

Love was produced by Dan Swanö, with Swanö as a member handling all backing vocals. After the recordings the band members went on with different bands and projects and they didn’t shop around for a record deal for this fully recorded and mixed album.

Vic Records signed The Project Hate MCMXCIX in 2006, and Leukemia’s Lord K. mentioned the album was “very special to him and he would love to see it finally being released.”

The deal was easily signed and Dan Swanö mastered the album 13 years after it was recorded. That’s the cover, compliments of Marko Saarelainen.

Look for Love in stores next month, or pre-order it here.
