Linkin Park Name New Record; Reveal Release Date

That’s right, you nu-metal loving-licorice taster.

Linkin Park have revealed the name of their forthcoming foray into rap-rock poopery: Living Things.

Yes, the album is called Living Things and will be in stores June 26.

A press release claims the album is co-produced by Rick Rubin (Adele, Metallica) and Linkin Park vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Mike Shinoda.

Linkin Park will also be co-headlining the 2012 Honda Civic Tour with Incubus; support will come from Mutemath.

“Linkin Park and Incubus fans have grown up together,” said Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.

“We’re looking forward to bringing them all together for a great night of music.”
Brandon Boyd from Incubus adds, “We’re going to have a blast on this tour, and I know the fans will too.”
