At the end of this post, you, my friend, will be able to hear a new song (and I use that term loosely) from Rob Zombie.
Sounds to me like Rob’s been making a conscious effort lately to not yell “Yeah!” constantly. I listened to his new tune, and there were at least 20 places where I was expecting — fuck that, begging — to hear Rob’s trademark “Yeah!” I not once was I satisfied.
Listen to “Dead City Radio And The New Gods Of Supertown” and tell me I’m wrong about the dearth of “Yeahs!” It’s as if the man reads my blog, and went to a hypnotist so he could stop screaming out “Yeah!”
Rob Zombie’s forthcoming new album Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor will contain a dozen tracks when it is released April 23.
The other songs on the disc include “Teenage Nosferatu Pussy,” “Revelation Revolution,” “Theme For The Rat Vendor,” “Gong Gang Gong De Do Gong De Laga Raga,” “Rock And Roll (In A Black Hole)”, “Behold! The Pretty Filthy Creatures,” “White Trash Freaks,” “We’re An American Band,” “Lucifer Rising,” “The Girl Who Loved The Monsters” and “Trade In Your Guns For A Coffin.”
