And that’s an order.
Before you think, “Hey Harris — go fuck yourself. I take orders from no man,” consider this: I want you to listen to this song at the end of this post because it is dope…I have no alternate motives here.
Witherscape is the band from producer Dan Swanö, who teamed up with Swedish multi-instrumentalist Ragnar Widerberg for The Inheritance, which drops August 6 in North America on Century Media Records.
Europe gets it a week earlier.
The song is called “Astrid Falls,” and reminds me of Opeth.
“‘Astrid Falls’ is one of my many favorite songs on the album,” Dan says. “It represents the Witherscape sound in a good way. It’s showcasing the clean and growling vocal interplay and the overall ‘vibe’ of my and Ragnar’s playing as well as the dynamics of our songwriting.”
