That’s right, my European friends.
Lock Up will be bringing their unique brand of grindcore straight to your ass this February, as the band announced it will embark on a brief European club tour in support of their latest album Necropolis Transparent.
The tour, tentatively named “Infiltrate And Destroy Europe 2013,” will see Lock Up playing an up-close-and-personal club tour which takes the band through the U.K., France, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Austria and Belgium.
Dates follow at the end of this post.
“We’re really excited and looking forward to blasting our way across Europe in Febuary 2013,” says drummer Nick Barker. “Lock Up on the whole, don’t really get to do club tours very often so this is a great opportunity for us do what we do, get up close and in your face with the fans, in a more intimate setting as opposed to playing the bigger open air festival stages we’re accustomed to. Don’t get me wrong we love playing the big festivals, but with the brutal and savage nature of our music, it’s very well suited in a club environment and we feel both the band and fans vibe on that a lot more.”
