Loomis Names Second Album; Cover Art, Track List Released

Me wants

Former Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis has christened his forthcoming second solo LP Plains of Oblivion.

That’s a cool title. I dig it. The artwork, which you can see to your left, is pretty phat as well. I am a huge Loomis fan, and loved his solo debut. This album is going to kick your nuts into your throat. Proverbially speaking, of course.

Plains of Oblivion will be released on April 10 in North America and April 9 in Europe via Century Media Records.

Loomis is the man. That’s all that needs to be said. This album will rip.

The disc will boast 10 tracks: “Mercurial” (featuring Marty Friedman), “The Ultimatum” (featuring Tony MacAlpine), “Escape Velocity,” “Tragedy And Harmony” (featuring Christine Rhoades), “Requiem For The Living” (featuring Attila Voros), “Continuum Drift” (featuring Chris Poland), “Surrender” (featuring Ihsahn), “Chosen Time” (featuring Christine Rhoades), “Rapture” and
“Sibylline Origin.”
