Max Cavalera, Greg Puciato Continue Work On Side Project

Max Cavalera

Fuck yeah, dude!

For months, we’ve been updating you on the Nailbomb-like side project started by Soulfly’s Max Cavalera and Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato, and so why should today be any different?

The project, which also boasts Dave Elitch (formerly of The Mars Volta), recently finished up another writing session.

Puciato posted the news on Facebook.

“Not a bad week. Wrapped up three days of writing w/ Cavalera and Elitch today, new DEP is slowly taking shape, and Weinman and I whipped up a surprise LA show with about five minutes of planning,” Puciato writes.

“Possibly the easiest show we’ve ever booked, and it’ll definitely be one of the craziest. Now on to the night and the insanity that always comes with it. Have a good weekend, everyone. Don’t get too crazy. No, wait…what am I talking about. DO. Sanity is overrated.”

Greg was referencing the Dillinger Escape Plan’s upcoming show at the Eagle Rock Center for the Arts in Los Angeles on January 18th. Nails and Dangers will open the show.
