Max Cavalera may not wear hats in real life, because of those dreads and all, but he does wear a number of metaphorical hats as the leader of so many different bands.
He’s like Mike Patton, if Mike Patton were from South America and less dapper.
In a new interview, Cavalera says that the Cavalera Conspiracy are going to head out on a January North American run of shows.
He claims Converge bassist Nate Newton — who played on the band’s new album — will likely be joining the Cavalera Conspiracy for the tour.
Cavalera also said during the interview that he will be writing a new Soulfly album at the end of this year, with hopes of lining up some seriously rad guests for the effort.
He also would like to tour with Killer Be Killed, but there are currently no plans for such a run.
Cavalera Conspiracy’s new one, Pandemonium, will be out November 4.
By the way, our own Sean Harris recently spoke with Max, and you can read all about that here.
