Oh snap, fools! Megadeth — the one, the only, the not-Metallica — will be headlining the Hell & Heaven Metal Festival 2011, which is slated November 19 in Guadalajara, Mexico.
According to a press release, organizers expect crowds of more than 20,000 will bear witness to 57 fantasmic metal bands on four gloriouscious stages.
Who else will be playing? Overkill, for starters. Fear Factory, too. Dark Funeral and Kataklysm.
I mean, that’s a lot of reasons to make a trip down to Mexico. Besides, I bet you you’ll be able to mack it with some fine Latina chicks at this show. Ones with tattoos. And loose morals.
Moonspell will also be performing, as will Destruction, Maya, Tristania, Wehrmacht, and Within The Ruins.
Vital Remains are on the bill, as are Lizzy Borden, Profecia, and a band called Here Comes the Kraken. That’s fucking rad. That band is my new favorite band, for the name alone.
