Melvins Announce 30th Anniversary Tour

The Melvins

Sorry I’ve been away from my computer most of the morning, folks.

I’ve been busy with my real job…the one that barely keeps the leaking roof over my head. You understand, don’t you?

The thing is, I am here now, with some good news about the Melvins.

The band will celebrate its 30th anniversary with an extensive North American tour, kicking off on July 12 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Direct support will be provided by Honky.

I love that there’s a band named Honky. Love.

“Has it really only been 30 years?” asked singer/guitar player Buzz Osborne. “Dang! Thanks to everyone who’s been there for us! It’s been an exciting trip and I probably should have listened and learned more. I apologize for anything I’ve ever done wrong and for anything I’m going to do wrong… Ha!”
