Memorian Album Available Now

Oh yeah, motherfuckers.

The new album from thrash supergroup Memorian is in stores now. Not sure who their publicist is, but the album came out last week, and we’re just finding out about it now.

You can sample the new LP at the end of this post; we’re streaming a song from the effort, called Evolution.

Memorian formed in 1999 and was founded by guitarist Ilias Papadakis.

The lineup that brought Evolution to live includes” Ilias on guitar, Gene Hoglan of Strapping You Lad and Dark Angel fame on drums, Sadus and Death’s Steve Digiorgio, Obituary’s Ralph Santolla, and Chris Valagao from Zimmers Hole. James Murphy from Death used to be in the band, as was ex-Megadeth kitman Nick Menza.

Comments Papadakis: ““On Evolution, we have succeeded to combine old school thrash metal, with a modern touch, fast and aggressive, but at the same time, melodic and powerful. I’’m sure that Evolution will satisfy the appetite of the diehard fans of thrash metal!””

The new album also includes guest musicians David Ellefson of Megadeth, Tim “Ripper” Owens, and Jeff Water of Annihilator.
