I would’ve posted this yesterday, but I’ve never heard of Noctum before.
I guess they’re from Sweden though, and they’ve just signed a new deal with Metal Blade records, which will surely lead to their commercial explosion.
Noctum was formed in September 2009 by bassist Tobias Rosén, guitarist and vocalist David Indelöf and drummer Gustaf Heinemann during the growing of the globally well-known classic rock scene inspired by the late 60’s and 70’s.
Said the band of the deal: “We’re very pleased to announce a new chapter in Noctum’s history! We have now signed a worldwide record deal with one of the leading record labels, Metal Blade Records! We’re thrilled to work with such experienced people — people who started out as regular tape-traders back in the days and worked their way to the top among thousands of labels. People who have managed to stick around and keep the fire burning, stronger than ever before. This is a new beginning, Stay tuned.”
So, that happened. I listened to these dudes, and they’re OK. Not my cup of tea.
