Yesterday morning, while we were all living, comedian and movie legend Robin Williams was busy dying.

The dude suffered from serious depression and killed himself. Sad, for sure.

But look, I suffer from serious depression, too. And am seriously broke. And I’m not hanging myself. So, to be honest, I can’t feel too, too bad for someone famous — who likely had enough cash to keep the bills paid — offing themselves. I pity them, ultimately.

If anything, the dude had more reasons to live than to die.

No matter where you stand on Robin’s actions, you can’t deny the dude made some serious contributions to comedy and made some amazing films over the course of his career. Except for “Patch Adams.” That movie was absolute shit.

Anyways, a bunch of metal dudes who didn’t know Williams personally have spoken out on the actor’s death.

In case you didn’t see the news, Williams was found dead at his home in Tiburon, California.

A forensic examination is set to take place on August 12.

Here’s a sampling of who said what:

Korn’s Brian “Head” Welch: “Lord, take Robin Williams with you, please I wanna laugh for Eternity!”

Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello: “RIP fellow Illinois Entertainer-In-Arms Robin Williams. Thank you for bringing joy to so many with ur peerless wit.”

PHILM and Amen drummer Dave Lombardo: “Saddened by the recent news about Robin Williams”

Charlie Benante of Anthrax: “I’m pretty shocked about Robin Williams, sad sad sad”

Periphery’s Jake Bowen: We’re all big Robin Williams fans in Periphery. RIP.”

Ozzy Osbourne: “Such a tragic loss. I will always have amazing memories of @RobinWilliams. Respect and love goes out to his family.”

Devin Townsend: “Ah shit, rip Robin Williams. Popeye was my favourite thing he did.”

“Popeye” was a good flick.
