Metallica Play Company Party, Selling Skis

Here’s a heaping helping of Metallica news for that ass

That’s right, fuckers.

Metallica is selling some customized skis to their most devout fans.

The band has teamed with Armada to sell the branded skis.

I’m starting to wonder if there’s anything Metallica won’t slap its name on.

Says the band:

“It’s no secret that three quarters of the band enjoy our snow sports (Kirk is sticking to the water for now!) so we’re excited to announce that we have hooked up with Armada to create a line of Metallica skis for you to cruise around the mountains on. Founded by professional skiers and a snow-sports photographer, Armada was skiing’s first rider-owned, rider-operated manufacturer and we admire that independent, do-it-yourself spirit.”

Get them now at ski dealers.

In related news, Metallica played a company party the other day.

Global cloud computing company Salesforce hired the band to play its shindig on February 9 at Pier 48 in San Francisco,.

The company’s co-founder Marc Benioff is neighbors with Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, it seems.

Metallica played 14 songs in all, including “For Whom The Bell Tolls,” “One,” and “Master of Puppets.”
