Guess what Brazil?

In addition to being home to some of the sexiest women on the planet, you’re getting a visit from Metallica this year!

Isn’t that exciting shit?

Metallica have agreed to play the 30th-anniversary edition of the Rock In Rio festival in Rio De Janeiro.

Says the band:

“One Rock In Rio in a year is just not enough! We’re very excited that we have been invited to be a part of the original Rock In Rio 30-year celebration by headlining one night during the festivities taking place September 18th – 27th, 2015 at the City of Rock in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This will mark our eighth (!) Rock In Rio appearance, including the upcoming May show in Las Vegas.”

Metallica notes the bill is pretty dope already, with the likes of Faith No More, System of a Down, and Queens of the Stone Age already set to play.

The U.S. Rock In Rio festival will boast Linkin Park and the Deftones, and goes down May 8 and may 9 and May 15 and May 16.
