And guess what? It features the music of the one and only Metallica. The song “Battery,” to be more specific. This is the second trailer for the forthcoming film, which stars that kid from “Inception” and “Brick” and Natalie Portman. The flick debuted at SXSW recently, and I have no interest in seeing it. But the trailer’s kind of rad.
You can see both trailers after the jump: the old one and the latest one, with the aforementioned Metallica track. Rad.
Based on the book, “Hesher” is about a dude who likes metal who comes to the aid of a 13-year-old boy and his father, Paul, by unexpectedly taking up residence in their garage — uninvited. The story is told through the eyes of the kid, whose dad is grieving some catastrophic loss a cursory search of the Web did not divulge. And the kid has a crush on Natalie Portman’s character.
Unless I suddenly discover this movie features a Natalie nude scene, I think I’ll be staying away.
