Mike Patton Participates In Gainsbourg Tribute

Mike Patton

Mike Patton is all things awesome — he’s worldly, classy, wise, and has a throat like velvet. I often say if I could learn any instrument, it would be Patton’s voice.

After the jump, you will find yet another example of Patton’s genius. Not that long ago, the Faith No More and Mr. Bungle frontman participated in a tribute to French singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg.

The show took place at the Hollywood Bowl and was curated by Beck; nice one, dude. Others tapped for the tribute include Zola Jesus, Charlotte Kemp Muhl, Sean Lennon, and Victoria Legrand. Nope — you have no idea who most of those people are, do you? You are not alone.
