That’s right, people.
Drummer Mike Portnoy issued a statement, saying his upcoming shows in Latin America with Adrenaline Mob “will be my last.”
The band are supporting Halestorm down there, in the land of fine coffees and fine fotch.
“Unfortunately, I have scheduling conflicts that prevent me from being able to fully commit to the band’s future activities at the moment,” says Mike.
“As I cannot be in two places at the same time, I don’t want to hold them back and have to wait for my schedule to re-open up to resume activity,” he says.
People cared about the band because of you. So holding them back was no issue, bra. Now you’re holding them back. There is more to this than meets the eye, folks. Mark my words.
“I’m very proud of what we started together and the music we made over the past two years and I wish the guys all the best in the future,” says Mike.
