Misery Signals Guitarist Stu Ross Jumps Ship

Misery Signals

So, Wisconsin metalcore outfit Misery Signals are down a man after guitarist Stu Ross decided he wants to be in a pop-punk band instead. This, according to Lambgoat.

Ross has been a member of the fold for pretty much the band’s entire existence, but has quit to join Vancouver’s Living With Lions full-time as their singer. The split was reportedly amicable.

“The guys in Misery Signals are and will continue to be four of my best friends,” Ross tells LG. “Frankly, I just got tired of being in a metal band.”

Good! I’m glad you’re gone. You don’t want to be in a metal band — guess what? Metal doesn’t want you, brother. Nope — we, as a scene, reject you outright. Go be in your stupid fucking pop-punk band. I’m sure you’ll be the next Blink 182, dude. Or the next New Found Glory. Oh, and you say you quit? No, no — on behalf of everyone who ever liked metal and wanted to be in a metal band, you are fucking fired. You’re not good enough for metal. Piss off, with you.
