I’ve never been able to attend you (or half the other fucking events I’d love to cover for that matter), but you always end up producing news.
Today’s one of those days where nothing is happening, so let’s thank the folks at ddrum for this tidbit.
Morbid Angel drummer Tim Yeung made the pilgrimage to NAMM this year, and says that yes, new material from the band is in the works.
“I’ve been in Morbid Angel for freakin’ five years — half a decade — and we’re working on some material to do a new album hopefully sometime… Maybe start it at the end of this year.”
This seems to jive with what David Vincent said in an interview last month — that the time to tour was over, and the time to write was now.
