Man, when this first went down, there was a lot of misinformation floating around. Now, the official account of what happened Friday night at Webster Hall has been released.
According to the New York Post, former Cro-Mags bassist and vocalist Harley Flanagan was the assailant in Friday’s attack during the CBGB Festival.
Flanagan attacked Cro-Mags member William Berario in the VIP area, slashing him above the eye with a hunting knife. He also bit Berario on the cheek.
Harley then slashed current Cro-Mags bassist Mike “The Gook” Couls on his arm and stomach.
Reports claims none of the wounds were life-threatening.
Flanagan left the venue with a broken leg when security tackled him and beat the piss out of him.
Harley was taken to a hospital for treatment and later charged with two counts of second degree assault and weapons charges.
The show Friday night was shut down soon after the incident, but at least Vision of Disorder got to play first before the show was nixed.
