By now, you’ve read the accusations lodged against the dudes at Sick Drummer Magazine over the Death To All Tour.
If you haven’t, Eric Greif — Death’s manager — basically charges that merchandise orders remain unfilled, and the musicians who took part in the Death To All Tour remain unpaid.
And Greif places the blame squarely on the shoulders of the Sick Drummer Magazine lame-asses, who basically (as far as I can determine) bit off much more than they can chew.
Since then, Chuck Schuldiner’s sister has even broken her silence about the grand hoodwinking of her brother’s fans. But now, Greif has revealed more about the flimflam.
“Sick Drummer also failed to pay Atheist and Gorguts,” says Greif online. “Both Kelly S & Luc L sadly confirmed. How abysmal!”
I hope none of you have been visiting Sick Drummer Magazine’s site since we broke this story. Also know that they’re part of a heavy metal ad network, that also involves several other sites you may or may not like.
Do some research. And if I were a lawyer fixing to sue Sick Drummer, I’d be focusing my attention on where the money actually is — the ad network, whose member sites flat-out ignored this story until I called them all out for it.
