More Revealed About Trent Reznor “Year Zero” Miniseries

Trent Reznor

It’s coming, folks. Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor’s long-awaited “Year Zero” miniseries is coming, and now, finally has a fucking writer.

The Hollywood Reporter claims “Fight Club“ and ”Jumper” screenplay scribe Jim Uhls has been hired to write the upcoming HBO/BBC series based on Trent’s 2007 album of the same name.

For those who don’t know or maybe don’t pay attention to lyrics, Year Zero was critical of the U.S. goverment, specifically the Bush years. It presents a dystopian vision of the year 2022. Reznor has already adapted the album into an alternate reality game.

Of course, Reznor and Atticus Ross recently picked up the Academy Award for penning the original score to Aaron Sorkin’s “The Social Network.” They’ve also recently finished work on the score for David Fincher’s upcoming adaptation of “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.”
