You just can’t trust cult bands, can you?
Doomy death metal band Morgion have canceled their appearance at the upcoming Maryland Deathfest, which goes down May 23 to May 26 at Former Sonar Compound in Baltimore.
“We attempted to book [Morgion] again after they had to cancel last year, but long story short, there are still too many roadblocks in the way that will keep them from playing this year,” says the festival’s organizers.
“As we already had to move Sleep to the Sunday show, there will not be another band added in replace of Morgion.”
I wish I were attending Maryland Deathfest. I won’t have the cash and wasn’t asked to be a sponsor.
Maybe next year. That’s a threat, Maryland Deathfest organizers.
