Mötley Crüe Frontman Hurts After Band’s Live Shows

Vince Neil

Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe is getting old. This is something Razzle from Hanoi Rocks was not able to do — since he was killed in a car accident that a drunk Vince was completely and 100-percent responsible for.

How do I know Vince is getting old? Because he says so in a new interview with Fox News on “Hair metal’s hottest ticket,” which features Mötley Crüe and Poison.

“It feels good to just get out there with a big show,” starts Vince. “We’re all about [for] a 10-dollar ticket, give them a 100-dollar show… After the show, my knees hurt, my ankles hurt, the next morning my shoulders hurt. But once the lights go down, the music starts, you don’t feel any pain anymore. It’s just the next morning you’re like, ouch. We’re a bit older, now.”

Of course, the big draw to this summer’s hair metal conference is Tommy Lee’s new drummer roller coaster.

“We’ve got the full big production, and Tommy’s crazy drum solo thing that he’s doing, the big roller coaster,” he said. “I mean, it’s a great concert, it’s a great package. Poison has a ton of great songs, they’ve been around for 25 years. And the [New York] Dolls.”
