Motörhead Frontman On Health Problems: “I’m Over It”

Dude, if Lemmy Kilmister is bullshitting here, and he’s actually really very ill, I’m gonna be pissed when I learn the truth.

I don’t like being lied to, Lemmy.

The Motörhead frontman tells Classic Rock that his health scare is no longer anything to worry about.

Lem suffered a haematoma in August, and Motörhead had to cancel gigs. He was also recently diagnosed with diabetes and was fitted with a defibrillator.

“It was nothing; I’m over it,” Lemmy says.

The 67-year-old added: “I can still stand at that mic every night and play my songs. I’m getting better. By the time the tour comes around I’ll be ready.”

I’m convinced he’s not well, and just soldiering on because he’s got an album to promote.

Am I the only one?
