Motörhead Name Next Album; Lemmy Reveals Heart Issues

What’s that you say, little grasshopper?

You didn’t know Motörhead was working on a new album? That’s OK. They are, and it’s been named already.

The new Motörhead record is called Aftershock and drops this September.

The follow-up to 2010′s The Wörld Is Yours was recorded at Maple Sound Studios in Santa Ana, California, with longtime producer Cameron Webb and will feature 13 songs.

In related news, it seems Lemmy Kilmister, who is essentially a life support system for a mole at his point, has a recent health scare.

U.K.’s Classic Rock magazine reports Kilmister recently underwent an operation to have a device inserted into his chest, to help his heart beat normally.

The surgery followed what Lemmy described as “heart problems.”
