Motörhead’s Lemmy, Glenn Hughes Among Musicians Booked For MS Benefit

Go if you can

You know, some uninformed folks might claim metalheads are just ominous loners who could give a shit about the world but I’d tell those folks to look to Lemmy Kilmister.

Not at him. At least not for more than a few seconds. They might turn to stone.

The Motörhead frontman is among those who’ve signed on for the Rock Against MS benefit show, going down March 27 in West Hollywood, California.

Deep Purple legend Glenn Hughes is also taking part, along with Rob Zombie’s John 5, Rob “Blasko” Nicholson, Camp Freddy’s Billy Morrison, Steven Adler, Ginger Fish, Wayne Static, Prong’s Tommy Victor, Marky Ramone and Great White’s Jack Russell.

Proceeds from the event will help fund treatment for publicist Nancy Sayle, who was struck with primary progressive MS in 2009. This is a severe version of the disease and only 10-percent are inflicted with this level.

She was also diagnosed with a pituitary brain tumor 2012.

The Rock Against MS benefit concert is set for the Whisky A Go-Go on March 27.
