Mr. Bungle Bassist Starts New Project

She likes Bungle

I’d be down to hear this.

Bassist Trevor Dunn — who plays with Mike Patton in Mr. Bungle and Fantomas — has started a new band.

With who? Unfortunately, not Mike Patton.

Nope, Trevor has started a band with Zao drummer Jeff Gretz called Leverage Models.

The band also features former and present members and of the Arcade Fire, Beirut, and Silent League.

I listened to some of it, and it’s interesting to say the least. It’s definitely not metal.

Really, it’s more of a throwback to a simpler time. A time when most of you were still squirting Bosco into your diapers.

It reminds me of something you would have heard on the “Miami Vice” soundtrack.

For reals. More hipster than it is metal, but the inclusion of dudes from the Arcade Fire and Beirut should have given that shit away.

If you want to give ‘em a listen, head here.
