New Jersey’s Mutiny Within have pulled themselves out of their upcoming North American tour with Epica, that symphonic metal outfit fronted by that hot ginger broad. Wonder if the carpet matches the curtains? Actually, she probably has hardwood flooring, if you know what I mean.
“After weeks of discussions, we’ve decided to cancel our current touring plans in order to focus all of our efforts to writing the second Mutiny Within album,” the band says in a statement. “Touring with Epica would have been amazing and we were really looking forward to it. This wasn’t easy for us and we apologize to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us again.”
So that’s that. The band want to keep working on their new album and Epica now need to find someone to open for them. Phat.
“After a year of touring, we feel it’s time to get all of this new material demoed and recorded. We’ve started writing and we don’t want to stop,” the statement continues. “We hope you all understand and support us, because we are excited to bring you brand new music. As far as touring goes, we are exploring opportunities for early 2011, and not just in America. Wait until you guys hear the new songs!”
