And that is it.
Pretty fucking sick, no? I’d get that tattooed on my tongue, for sure. Serious.
Nachtmystium’s sixth full-length album, Silencing Machine, see the band returning to the more traditional black metal sound found on their break-through album, Instinct: Decay.
Oh boy, am I gushing for this release. I can’t wait to hear what these dudes have been cooking up.
Recorded at Engine Studios with the band’s own synths/electronics specialist Sanford Parker handling producer duties, Silencing Machine is, as front-man/lead guitarist Blake Judd puts it, “A fuckin’ black metal record.”
Cool. I like black metal. A ton.
The album will be in stores July 31 in the U.S., and a day before in Europe.
For some reason, Pitchfork is now the most metal fucking site on the webernets.
I think the labels are now trying to cater to indie metal hipster types. Go to Pitchfork, give them the much-needed traffic, and listen to Nachtmystium’s new song, “Show No Mercy.”
