Napalm Death Are Free Agents; Release New Track

Napalm Death

Grindcore legends Napalm Death have contributed a brand new track called “Legacy Was Yesterday” to Decibel magazine’s monthly flexi-disc series. Basically, Decibel is trying to get people to buy their magazine in an age where the internet rules, and hence, are including flexi-discs with each issue. I wonder if this strategy is working.

The song is the band’s first new material since 2009′s Time Waits for No Slave studio offering, and you can stream that track after the jump, if you’d like.

Napalm Death are said to be writing new material for their forthcoming 14th studio offering, which is due later this year. We just don’t know which label the band will release the disc on, because Napalm Death are free agents, not signed to any label. And yet, Oceano is.
