Oh man, this is both sad and exciting. Legendary Swedish grind act Nasum have announced a limited number of farewell performances for 2012.
The dates also include Nasum’s first tour of North America.
Nasum — who are still reeling from the death of guitarist and co-founder Mieszko Talarczyk in the 2004 Asian tsunami — announced the farewell performances to mark the band’s 20th anniversary and will close the book on the wildly influential band’s career.
The North American portion of the band’s farewell tour kicks off May 18 in Chicago with Brutal Truth and Dropdead.
A full list of those dates follows.
Nasum have enlisted the help of Rotten Sound vocalist Keijo Niinimaa to handle the screams for the forthcoming dates.
