Necrovation’s Self-Titled LP Due In August

That’s if you live in the United States. The album is already out in Europe…but let me pause on Necrovation for a second.

What a week this has been for metal? Coming off of Metallica’s Orion Music + More fest, we were hit yesterday with an un-fucking-believably awesome new tune from Testament, and Gojira’s incredible new album hit stores Tuesday.

It’s only Wednesday, and already, it’s been an awesome week for metal. Old Man Gloom came out too. Holy fuck, is that album insane. I knew it wouldn’t be leaving the CD player of my car for a while once I had access to it…much like Black Breath. But I haven’t listened to an album on repeat like this in a while.

The week will only get better, kids. The Death To All tour hits New York on Thursday night, and before the week is over, we will have some more exclusive content to present you with, which will rule.

Now, as for Necrovation, their self-titled sophomore LP will hit stores August 14 in the United States, and you can hear a track from it — called “Sepuchreal” — at the end of this post.

Seriously, though. That new Testament track has me fucking rabid for that album now. What a fucking tight tune.
