I sometimes wonder what it is about black metal that gets my juices flowing. Nine times out of 10, the music can be depressing, dismal, and utterly dank.
I fucking love it.
Today, we’re bringing you some exclusive filthy black shit from Neige Éternelle, a black metal outfit from Québec whose self-titled debut drops April 13 on Sepulchral Productions.
The song at the end of this post — “Vent De Puissance” — is a beast, clocking in at a pithy three-plus minutes.
The self-titled album contains eight tracks of raw, old school, stripped-down black metal from a true band that honestly couldn’t care less about complex song structures, avant-garde elements or, more importantly, whether you like them or not.
Check Neige Éternelle out.
I can almost guarantee you’ll dig them. If you are like me, and appreciate desolate odes to despair.
