Yeah, dude. Now we know why Unearthly Trance broke up.
All three members of the New York cult doom act have teamed with founding Electric Wizard and Ramesses bassist and guitarist Tim Bagshaw in a new band called Serpentine Path.
I want to hear this. I was down with Unearthly Trance, and I dig that name a ton. Serpentine Path. I would say I have overused that word in my lifetime. Serpentine.
The band’s self-titled debut is said to be an absolutely crushing album which both references and reinterprets its members’ previous bands but with a decidedly more punishing death metal approach.
I’d buy that for a dollar.
The debut album from Serpentine Path will be released by Relapse Records on September 11.
