It was two weeks ago today that Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe was taken into custody by authorities in Prague. It’s been two weeks since Randy has tasted freedom, as he’s languishing in a Czech Republic prison, awaiting word on whether he will be charged in connection with a fan’s death two years ago or released.
Pictures of Blythe interacting with that now-dead fan — Daniel Nosek — have popped up online, thanks to The Gauntlet.
It has been suggested that Blythe beat and choked Nosek out when he mounted the stage a fourth time during Lamb of God’s set.
The picture contained in this post surfaced yesterday, and could be pretty damning.
In still photos taken by Martin Kroa of Daniel and Randy, there is no evidence of a physical assault.
The picture in this post shows Randy on top of Daniel, still singing. Randy’s left hand is nowhere near Daniel’s throat, as you can see, and his other hand’s holding the microphone.
How can Randy be choking Daniel here? He can’t be, is the answer.
Meanwhile, the prosecutor in this case remains unwilling to let Blythe go or formally charge him.
Blythe was expected back in court today to appeal the prosecution’s most recent decision. We still do not know what the outcome of that hearing may have been.
