New Soulfly Album “Sounding Fucking Sick”

Max Cavalera

This, according to David Kinkade, who just finished tracking drums for the new Soulfly album.

Kinkade, known for his work with Arsis, Malevolent Creation, and Borknagar, joined the band a few weeks ago, and replaced Joe Nunez.

The next Soulfly disc will be in stores early next year, dudes. The LP is currently being recorded at a Phoenix, Arizona, studio with producer Chris “Zeuss” Harris, who I was literally confused for on Facebook just the other day.

Kinkade said the band’s new material is “crushing, fast thrash, blasting, tribal and fueled by extreme burrito fury…The record is sounding fucking SICK. Thrashy as fuck…totally Arise on crack and speed.”

Kinkade said that he and Max Cavalera “get along great, [and] my [new] bandmates are great.”

Everything’s great, then. That’s great.
